Roamdia: what to do once you arrive, in your language and your currency

Flights and hotel are sorted; what you do there is still open. Roamdia brings guided tours, day trips, tickets and experiences from local providers into a single search.

Product & communication

Trip planning usually starts with transport and accommodation, yet what people remember afterwards is what they did there: a guided walk through the old town, a local dinner, an afternoon on a boat. Hunting for those experiences destination by destination, across different providers' websites and with prices in someone else's currency, takes far longer than it should. Roamdia is the Simvix group's experiences marketplace, and it handles that part of the journey.

A catalogue organised around what you want to do

Roamdia groups activities from local providers into eight categories: guided tours, free tours, day trips, tickets and museums, food and drink, shows, boat trips, and nature and adventure. Travellers search by destination, compare the options in each category and book in the same place. The travel guides in the resources section help you get a feel for a place before you choose.

Built for travellers from anywhere

Reading the terms of an excursion in a language you barely know, or converting currencies in your head, is a classic source of mistakes. Roamdia's interface comes in 12 languages, including Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian and Japanese, and prices are shown in 12 currencies such as EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, MXN, BRL and COP. Cookie consent and privacy are handled in line with the GDPR.

For activity companies, guides and developers

The other half of the marketplace is the supply side. Activity companies and guides sign up in the "Partners" area, publish their catalogue and manage bookings and availability from their own login, without needing a website of their own to reach travellers from other countries. For anyone who wants to connect Roamdia to their systems, the resources section offers developer documentation alongside the help centre.

Where to go next

If you are travelling soon, start with your destination and filter by the category you fancy. If you run activities, signing up as a partner is the first step. The Roamdia page in our portfolio sums up the platform and its modules, and on Roamdia you can look for your next experience right away.
