Everyday help at home: how Simvix Home Services works

In many households the week rests on a fragile balance: someone has to leave work early to collect the children, the cleaning piles up until the weekend and caring for an elderly relative is shared out however it can be. Looking for help with each task separately, from a different provider every time and without knowing what it will cost, only adds to the load. Simvix Home Services puts those services on a single platform.

What you can book

The catalogue covers the tasks that weigh most on a family's routine: school pick-ups, home cleaning, babysitting and childcare, grocery shopping and elderly care, plus other domestic services. The idea is that one account works both for a one-off need, such as an evening with a babysitter, and for help that comes back every week.

What it costs, before you book

Starting prices are published, so you can do the sums before you commit: school pick-ups start at €8 per pick-up, cleaning at €15 an hour, childcare at €12 an hour, grocery shopping at €10 per errand and elderly care at €14 an hour. There is no lock-in: you book what you need, when you need it.

Why you can trust someone with your home

Opening your front door, or trusting someone with your children or your parents, calls for guarantees. Every professional goes through identity and reference checks before they can accept jobs, and customers can rate each service, which helps keep standards up over time. The service runs seven days a week and requests are answered in under 24 hours.

What sits behind it

The website and request management were built by Simvix on the same foundation as the group's other platforms: onboarding of professionals, job assignment, ratings and communication with families.
